Like all parents, I have seen the need for fun and challenging physical activities for my kids to get energy out. But as a fitness expert, I have found that kids' bodies don't get the deep strengthening they need just through running and playing yard games.

What makes OTP Kids unique?

I have been a Pilates instructor and movement specialist since before my two daughters were born. As my girls grew, I noticed multiple areas of weakness in their bodies - whether it was alignment and posture, lack of overall strength or pain and tension from a lack of mobility - I could see they needed some help!

In the past few years, I have been able to utilize my knowledge and training in physiology, biomechanics and holistic health to help them recover from a variety of injuries, strengthen weak areas and align their posture so that they move better, feel better and are stronger!

Though my girls play outside a TON, stay pretty active, as well as participate in consistent PE and gym style classes with friends and classmates, I have still seen a SEVERE lack of strength in their bodies. 😱 

And when I look around at their friends or other kiddos, it makes me really sad to see that the physical activity that kids are getting is just not cutting it.

Are you concerned when you look at your children's weak ankles and feet, their wobbly knees, their rounded shoulders or strained necks 😰 ? You don't want your kiddos growing up with weak muscles or bones - only to be vulnerable to pain and injuries.

Playing is just not enough to actually strengthen kids' muscles, bones, joints and overall structure to help them move fluidly and stay healthy.

As a homeschool mom, I have implemented a "strength routine" into our days and it has made a HUGE impact on their strength, health and their minds! 💥

Each exercise is specially curated to help with specific and targeted functional movement as well as overall strength. Every challenge has been tried and tested by kids just like yours so that they can ENJOY movement and getting stronger.

A little science lesson...

As your kids grow, so does their ability to handle stress, difficulty and worries...hopefully.

I have seen my own kids show a need to strengthen their nervous system and help to move from sympathetic to parasympathetic activation.

When our nervous system needs attention, we will often see it come out as whining, fidgeting, bickering or becoming irritable, especially for kids. Getting your blood, oxygen and muscles moving can help regulate our nervous systems, balance blood sugar and strengthen our stress response.

You may think I am biased but throughout my training and coaching on the nervous system, there is substantial evidence that points to moving the body and sensory input helping to strengthen the nervous system. As an integrative health practitioner who has done significant vagus nerve training as well as Biblical counseling for almost 20 years, this is very clearly how the Lord has designed us to function, to heal and to strengthen our nervous system resilience.
